Located just minutes from downtown, the The Grande Event Center is centrally located to Knoxville’s booming suburban population and easily accessed by visitors throughout East Tennessee. In fact, The Grande Event Center is within a days’ drive of half the nation’s population, situated at the crossroads of three major interstates, I-75, I-40 and I-81. Adding to our attractive location, we are also a short drive away from the world-class resorts of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountains.
Our Banquet Hall has more than 1600 hotel rooms, 50 restaurants and numerous shopping opportunities in close proximity and is less than 20 miles from McGhee Tyson Airport, East Tennessee’s premier airport.
Driving Directions
We are located just north of downtown Knoxville, off of Clinton Highway, 1/2 mile west of Interstate 75 and 1.5 miles north of Interstate 640. Take I-75 to Merchants Rd Exit (108). Turn west and go 1/2 mile. The Grande is located at the corner of Clinton Hwy and Merchants Rd.
Parking Information
Parking is free in our spacious lot, with complete ADA access. All areas open to the public – the parking lot, banquet hall/ballroom, and restrooms – are on ground level.
